how to meet us

The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts is one of the most highly regarded acting schools in the country. If you’re in or around NYC, come visit our campus, or meet our faculty as they travel across the country offering workshops and auditions in a city near you!

An audition is required for acceptance to The New York Conservatory programs, and to determine scholarships. In-person and virtual campus visits with or without auditions are available throughout the year. Click here to learn more about our audition requirements.

open house

Join us for Open House on selected Saturday mornings. You and your family can meet our Academic Committee, Student Services, Financial Aid, Admissions, Q&A with current students and tour the school. Watch or participate in workshops taught by senior faculty. You may also register to audition in person at this event.

AUDITION TOUR

Sample the New York Conservatory student experience in a city near you. Participate in (or observe) faculty-led workshops in Film Television and Musical Theater Performance. Students will have the option to complete an official audition for admission and scholarships.

Schedule a Campus Visit

Choose your day to join us on campus! Tour our NYC studio facilities and meet with an admissions advisor to get your questions answered. In addition, if you would like to complete an in-person audition for one of our programs, you can do so while on campus.

Conservatory Fridays

This is an opportunity for prospective students who are interested in learning more about the programs offered at NYCDA to have a glimpse of what it is like to be a student studying at the Conservatory. Optionally, if a student is prepared to complete their official audition for admission to our degree or summer intensive programs, they may do so at the end of their visit.

schedule a virtual audition

If you are unable to meet with us in person at our Campus or during our Audition Tour, you may schedule a virtual audition.  New York Conservatory faculty will workshop your audition material with you at the audition.
