Bachelor's Degree Options
The New York Conservatory has articulation agreements with three universities. As a National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST)-accredited school, our credits transfer widely, but these three schools have pre-arranged agreements with us that allow our graduates, when accepted, to seemlessly transition into junior year in a four-year Bachelor’s Degree program.

The New School
New York, New York
The New School is a private non-profit research university located in Greenwich Village. It was founded in 1919 as The New School for Social Research with an original mission dedicated to academic freedom and intellectual inquiry and a home for progressive thinkers. Its faculty and alumni include numerous notable designers, writers, musicians, artists, and political activists.
The New School accepts up to 60 NYCDA credits into their Bachelor’s Program for Adults and Transfer Students, with the actual number being dependent on the required coursework for the individualized program that the student designs.
Students design their own curriculum to earn the additional 60 liberal arts credits, earning a BS degree in Liberal Arts.
Adelphi University
Multiple Campuses in New York State
Adelphi University is a private, nonsectarian university located in Garden City, on Long Island in New York. Adelphi also has centers in Manhattan, Hudson Valley, and Suffolk County. For the tenth year, Adelphi University has been named a “Best Buy” in higher education by the Fiske Guide to Colleges. The university was also named a 2010 Best College in the Northeastern Region by The Princeton Review.
Adelphi accepts 60 NYCDA Film & TV Performance Program credits toward a BFA in Theater Arts, with 60 additional credits needed at Adelphi.

Saint Peter’s University accepts 60 NYCDA Film and Television Performance Program credits toward a BA in Communication and Media Culture OR a BA in Fine Arts.
