The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts invites you to nominate your high school’s upcoming Fall or Spring play or musical for our Rising Star Drama Scholarship Program!

Rising Star is NYCDA’s way of recognizing outstanding high school students’ performances, with a scholarship to our Two-Year Degree Program or Four-Week Summer Intensive.

Fill out our Rising Star Drama Scholarship Nomination Form, and tell us about your high school’s Fall or Spring production.

If your school’s production is selected, an NYCDA representative will attend a performance of the show.

The cast of the show will have a chance to be awarded scholarships to our Degree Programs in the amount of either $20,000 or $15,000, or scholarships to our Summer Intensive Programs in the amount of $1,000.

All cast members, no matter the size of their role, are considered for a scholarship.

We will be in touch with your director to finalize the details of attending your production if your nomination is selected.
